Q: How do I connect my Google account to Lyssna?

Head to your Lyssna profile settings, scroll to Integrations, and click Connect on the Google integration. Once connected, your Google Calendar and Google Meet are both available — there's no separate Google Meet account to authorize. Then on your interview study's Setup page, choose Google Meet as the default meeting location. The Google Calendar and Meet account of the study's main host is always used.

Q: Is this integration available on all Lyssna plans?

Yes. The Google Meet integration is available on every Lyssna plan, including the free plan. Plan-gated features that apply downstream — for example, AI summaries of interview recordings on Growth and Enterprise plans — are unaffected by the integration itself.

Q: Can I disconnect my Google account from Lyssna?

Yes. Head to your profile settings and click Disconnect on the Google integration. When you disconnect: Lyssna will no longer access your Google Calendar or create new Google Meet links Existing Google Meet links won't be cancelled or changed Existing sessions keep their meeting links Existing studies keep their default meeting location — you can reconnect Google or choose another location at any time

Q: How does Lyssna ensure the privacy and security of my data?

We treat security and privacy as foundational. The Google integration requests only the OAuth permissions needed to run it — basic profile, calendar availability, event creation, and Meet recording access — and nothing else.
