Our story


Mateja creates fivesecondtest.com after discovering the technique in Robert Hoekman Jr’s book, Designing the Obvious, and the site grows rapidly.


Mateja works with a former colleague to lay the groundwork for UsabilityHub.


Mateja teams up with Nick and Tristan to rebuild UsabilityHub from the ground up. They introduce a range of new testing features and a subscription model. 


UsabilityHub launches the UserCrowd panel, a large pool of participants who can take part in research when users don’t have their own participants.


Our first remote team members are hired and panelists begin getting paid to take usability tests, which leads to the growth of our research participant panel.


We continue to grow our remote team, launch new subscription plans, and improve panel ordering and test results.


We rebrand to Lyssna and add additional features including templates and interviews, expand our panel, and grow our global team.
