Navigation tests analyze user interactions with your website or app, focusing on specific tasks or goals.

In this navigation test template, you can assess how easy it is for your participants to navigate through a checkout flow. It can help you to identify bottlenecks and confusing steps, and validates drop-off metrics from analytics data.

Before you ship your new site, or launch revisions to your existing site, test your navigation flow with your target audience. Successful tests exhibit high completion rates (at least 80%) for each step. Lyssna makes this easy to view, with results showing you how many participants completed the flow, where they clicked, where they dropped out, and how long they took. You can also view results as heatmaps and click clusters.

Be sure to investigate high drop-off steps for unexpected clicks, misleading elements, overlooked targets, or distracting page elements. Follow-up questions can also help you understand user behavior.
